Tomas Colbengtson, who is responsible for the Indigenous Workshop/Art Exhibition as the art director, created a poster for our international academic and art event. The Academic Conference on Indigenous Policy aims to assess the existing
policies towards Indigenous peoples at local, regional, and global levels based
on scientific findings with a view towards decolonizing those policies. The
Indigenous Workshop/Art Exhibition is organized by Indigenous artists,
including Tomas Colbengtson, around themes of decolonization. The scientific research presented will instill attendees with a
comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand, while the art will
instinctively move people to bear Indigenous issues in mind. Together, artists
and scientists will collaborate with the aim of promoting the rights of
Indigenous peoples, ensuring their security and livelihood.
